5th day of our travels

January 15th 2013

Today we got up at 06:30 to be ready for our taxi to the pier where we boarded the Sea Star for a day of scuba diving. The trip consisted of three dives.

The first two hours were great......the 10 hours after that not so much! Unfortunately, Sheri was seasick for most of the trip.

This first dive was too deep for us so we had to wait till the second dive to enter the water. The dive instructor assigned to us explained all the requirements and diving skills to us on the boat.

At 12 o'clock we were allowed to take part in our first dive, after a crash course on the do's and don'ts in the water Sheri had her first dive in 26 meters of water not bad for a beginner.

Back on the boat Sheri had more of a rough time battling with the rocking and rolling as we made our way to the next dive site. After convincing Sheri that she will feel better if she does the next dive, we were back in the water for the deepest dive I have done, the wall drop off was 40 meters.

The boat ride back to dry land was 2hrs45min of hell for Sheri and she never wants to see another boat. Lol
