Thailand - January 2013

Our trip to Thailand commences in 2 days time.  We will shortly be sitting around OR Thambo International Airport waiting for our flight to Dubai.  We will see Dubai in transit and arrive in Phuket on 12 January 2013 at 21h55.

This trip is being undertaken ‘Griesel style’.  Less planning, more fun.  As far as bookings go, aeroplane tickets have been bought and paid for, hotels booked and one hotel transfer arranged.  We will be ‘self-driving’ from Phuket to Surat Thani province where we will hopefully get a bus and boat to Koh Samui. 

Although we won’t be ‘roughing it’ and our main objective is not a physical activity, this is our idea of an adventure holiday.  If you see something you like do it, or don’t.  Lie on the beach, snorkel, fish, shop, eat as much as you want etc.
